"Send on Behalf" for users in different storage groups.
We are running an Exchange 2003 SP2 Enterprise, with Clients of Outlook 2007 (Clients are running in Cached Exchange Mode.) This issue is on a single server with several Storage groups. There user1 that is in StorageGroup1. There is a 'General' Mailbox that we give 'Send on Behalf' that is in StorageGroup2. the permissions for this 'General' mailbox set for a small group of users. All the users that currently have the "Send on Behalf" permissions and working as it should. My question is when try to grant user1 that is in StorageGroup1 the Send on Behalf to the 'General' Mailbox on StorageGroup2. User1 can not 'send as' General. Any thoughts on things to check? Has anyone had this issue before, thoughs on a Server side or Client side issue? Thanks

We are setting up that test to see if there is a single profile or if it is permissions between containers.Might this have something simular to the issue that is addressed in the KB909802, where the OutofOffice does not work when connecting to more then one storagegroup? (another item that has come to the attention that I am looking at implementing the hotfix for)I will keep in with updatesThanks

After more work on this issue, it ended up that it wsa down to the issue of the user's mailbox as we tested other users connections without error. Now working on checking that one troubled mailbox rather then any store issue. Thanks for the help and suggestions.Adam
